PRESCHOOL
Presbyterian Christian School Preschool strives to help children grow in their knowledge of God and to provide Biblically based academic instruction of the highest quality in a nurturing environment.
Age Admission Requirements:
PCS policy states that a child must be 3 years of age on or before September 1st in order to enter our 3-year-old program. A child must be 4 years of age on or before September 1st in order to enter our 4-year-old program.
OUR THREE-YEAR-OLD KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM INCLUDES:
- Teaching units that are based on monthly themes and include instruction on age appropriate goals
- Art and music activities daily
- Maximum class size of 11
- Teacher assistants
- Meeting on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:45-11:30
- Supervised outdoor play
OUR FOUR-YEAR-OLD KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM INCLUDES:
- Phonics, Writing, and Numbers instruction using the A Beka Book Curriculum
- Bible and character lessons using the A Beka Bible Curriculum
- Weekly library visits
- Music and art instruction
- Maximum class size of 16
- Teacher assistants
- Meeting daily from 8:45-11:45
- APPLE, an after school enrichment program offered on Tuesday and Thursday from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- Supervised outdoor play
