In the fall of 2008 the PTO purchased 26 new state of the art Dell computers, computer tables, and new chairs to furnish a new elementary computer lab for the students. With a newly painted room and new equipment, the students have the latest technology available at their fingertips.

The students have controlled internet access, availability of Accelerated Reader tests, a Mavis Beacon Typing Program, Encarta 2007 Encyclopedia, Office 2007, and other programs.

The goal of the Elementary Computer Program is to teach keyboarding skills, along with word processing skills, basic skills of research, the basics of Powerpoint, and responsible internet searches.
