The mission of The Reading Center is to identify students with a learning difference and to provide them with the appropriate services they need to become successful both academically and personally.

The Reading Center was established in 2003 as an on campus option to provide PCS elementary students quality, affordable academic testing and language intervention during the school day. Special services include screenings, testing, oral and written expressive language therapy by a certified staff. Math tutoring is also available during the school day for grades K-6.
