Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is the largest business career student organization in the world with a quarter million students preparing for careers in business and business-related fields. Membership and career recognition programs are designed to provide additional personal and chapter development opportunities.
FBLA’s National Awards Program recognizes and rewards excellence in a broad range of business and career-related areas. Students compete in events testing their business knowledge and skills at District and State Conferences. Top state winners are eligible to compete for honors at the National Leadership Conference each summer. Our chapter is well-represented at these conferences with winners at District and State. We have also had several participants compete and place at the National Conference.
Our local chapter participates in various fundraisers and service projects. Some of the service projects we have participated in are: Operation Christmas Child, sponsored an ARC child for summer camp, donated cat/dog food to the Southern Pines Animal Shelter and adopted several Salvation Army Angel Tree children at Christmas. We also helped the past two years at the annual PTO Fall Festival.
