Mu Alpha Theta is the National High School and Two-Year College Mathematics Honor Society with over 75,000 student members in more than 1,500 schools. We are dedicated to inspiring keen interest in mathematics, developing strong scholarship in the subject ,and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics in high school and two-year college students.
The members of Mu Alpha Theta offer free tutoring before and after school every Thursday. They have also started some tutoring at the elementary campus in Mrs. Henderson’s classroom. Mu Alpha Theta has a Pi Day for fun during the school year.
To be a member, a student must have completed two years of college preparatory courses and must be currently enrolled in or have completed a still more advanced course. Members must maintain a 3.0 grade point average or higher.
