Welcome to the Presbyterian Christian School website.  PCS has been a school for over thirty years, but the seniors that will graduate in May, 2009, will only be our eleventh graduating class, so our high school program is still relatively new.  As High School Principal, I oversee approximately 415 seventh through twelfth graders on a separate campus from our elementary school.  We believe that there is no other school in the state of Mississippi that offers the total package of outstanding academic preparation along with excellent athletic and extracurricular offerings, all from a Christian perspective.

Academically our students are well prepared for college by an outstanding faculty, over half of whom have advanced degrees.  The Lord has blessed us with very good entrance test scores, a high acceptance rate, and abundant scholarship offers into colleges and universities in Mississippi, throughout the south, and across the nation.  Athletically our program has been blessed with successful teams, gifted coaches, and talented players.  PCS has finished first in all-sports-points in our division for the past two years, and many of our athletes receive scholarships and have opportunities to play at the next level.  Extracurricularly PCS offers award winning programs in art, choral music, speech, debate, and drama.

We believe however that what makes our program truly excellent and unique is our commitment to honoring and serving Jesus Christ in all that we do.  As our Mission Statement says, we attempt “to provide a comprehensive college preparatory education distinguished by a biblical worldview to equip students with the moral integrity, intellectual capacity, and social conscience to impact the world for Christ.”
